Vampires and werewolves are commonly believed to be inherently incompatible. While Yeosang is more or less skeptical, he didn't peg the assumption to be entirely baseless: for instance, he loves his personal space, and Wooyoung, unfortunately, shared the sentiment to a concerning degree. A sudden craving for an egg-and-ham sandwich had led him to the convenience store around the corner at 2 AM, where he was eventually subjected to the shady cashier eyeing him from head to toe with a wolfish, knowing whistle. Something happened in between, and Yeosang left the store with a few won less rich, a cold pre-packaged sandwich, and a new number added to his contacts under JWY. If it were up to Yeosang, he wouldn't exactly call them friends. Yeosang couldn't remember ever reaching out first, and Wooyoung only came to him when he was thoroughly bored out of his mind. Neither of them minded the lack of enthusiastic initiation, though. In a sense, they were probably pretty close: enough for Wooyoung to be Yeosang's first and only guest after Seonghwa's passing, enough for Yeosang to accept Wooyoung's excessive touchy-feeliness, and even enough for them to eventually travel together abroad. Wooyoung had waved off their inadequate planning, "We can just figure things out as we go." Yeosang was inclined to object, but the hefty sum from both of their savings plus his inheritance from Seonghwa made a convincing case. The light from outside bounces off Jongho's eyes, giving his wide, dark irises a shine not unlike Wooyoungs when he had sprung the absurd proposal on him back then. Through his scattered memory, Yeosang supposes it was also worded roughly the same way— "Let's go outside!"

https://lobotomycorporation.wiki.gg/wiki/Spider_Bud a brood mother of spiderlings. fairly straightforward as an abnormality: if an employee steps on one of its children, it wraps them up in a cocoon for its spiderlings to feed on. this process does not kill the employee right away, and it is unlikely that anyone will volunteer to free them. as such, the employee is to wait for their impending doom, all while aware of their slipping life force. https://lobotomycorporation.wiki.gg/wiki/Grave_of_Cherry_Blossoms a cherry blossom tree with a pair of hands seen in the hole between the trunk and the roots. the tree is capable of charming employees and luring them into its containment. the hands will drag the employee inside the tree. it is said that the tree uses human blood to maintain its beauty. the assignment is also a nod to seonghwa's when spring comes cover and his birth month. plus, the abnormality is likely to reference the line "A corpse is buried under a cherry tree" (motojiro kaiji, under the cherry tree) where the author supposes that is why the cherry blossoms bloom so beautifully, which is cool.

All that remains is the hollow pride of a weathered knight. The tenacity of the hero who cannot leave the past behind is a pitiful sight." gameplay-wise, she can bless an employee and grant them protection. when the protected employee panics/is dead, she'll breach containment and skewer people while wailing in grief.

I still don't think I fully agree with that sentiment. For the longest time I firmly believed when two parties no longer mutually benefit, it's just best to draw your distance. But relationships aren't cost/benefit analysis. Sometimes love is worth holding onto even when you're not suitable for one another. Sometimes differences are irreconcilable but it's not wrong to try. I don't think a relationship needs to be healthy or toxic. Sometimes it's just the will to work things through vs the will to let go.

Still, it knocked the wind out of him when no empty reassurance preceded the rapidly departing footsteps. Seonghwa's name died and rotted on his tongue. Yunho barely had enough time to stop himself from looking and bracing himself for the explosion that soon rippled through the air, ricocheting across his eardrums. The aftershocks threw him off balance, which he clumsily regained before he realized he had fallen back into silence's stifling embrace. Through the deafening ringing in his ears, Yunho could imagine Seonghwa crumpling to the ground with a sickening Thud. For a split second, he hoped he could've heard it—something is better than nothing. The urge to scream clawed into his esophagus before he washed it down with spit. There was no one left to heed it, anyway.

San lets out a sigh of relief that's more audible than he intended, but it's thankfully covered by the sound of his phone ringing. Sadly, his ringtone is Wooyoung's laugh, which doubles as the cries of a tortured hyena, and Seonghwa purses his lips, smile tugging at the edges. "Youngsters these days," he sighs, and San shoots him an incredulous look. "You're not even that old!" San exclaims before swiping to answer. Seonghwa flutters his eyelashes and mimes a hair flip, and San wonders if he should just cancel the hangout with Yunho altogether.
