Some thing that are supposed to work according to documentation + work for other people, may not work for you and... no idea why lol. ren'py has a mind of it's own and sometimes it hust fixes itself. sometimes it doesn't.
Everyday I feel grateful that players can't see the code for our novel

Tbh ren'py is very tricky with dialogue window text wifth and it is hard to make it work :( + to make it different for different characters (and have it work).
