Found this sketch on my hard drive last night. It’s called „the clouds were speaking to me“. Can’t remember when I did it but I think I will take this idea forward to a full track. What do you think?

Last month I had the opportunity to play a liveset at the @hier.spielt.die.music Vol3 event where I tried to increase the amount of „live“ parts vs. pre-recorded clips. The recording is now available on SoundCloud.

Super happy to be part of this again.
It will be in small town in northern Germany. A friend moved there 2 years ago. Due to a lack of club nights he started the event series with some other guys from scratch. They are all highly motivated and turned an old fashioned bowling alley into a club.

Final touches before sending it off to mastering. Started this one mainly with a couple of synths sequenced by an Arturia Keystep + beats from Digitakt, followed by some editing, mixing and polishing in Ableton. Settled to this workflow for now. What us your favorite way to start (+finish) a track?

Why are people so fascinated by assholes?
If we look at politics and movies the concept for success is showing an evil man and you will get the attention. How about showing good people for a change. There are plenty.

The ongoing hatred in media and politics is really bringing me down and my last #jamuary2025 jam is a reflection of this.
At the same time I am thankful for all the inspiration that was going on here during this #jamuary. You guys were smashing it.
