Brits overestimate the amount of Muslims in the UK by 350%.

Excellent article on the racism at the heart of the British establishment. Its conclusion echoes my analysis of Paul Marshall’s ARC where Farage spoke. ‘Globalist’ neoliberalism but only for the wealthy white ‘Christian’ in-group. Hypocrisy = expression of power. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...

Reform is the party for denialist cranks, obstructionists and the fossil fuel industry that contributes to its coffers. Forcing people to ‘adapt’ is about as anti-human as you can get.

Whelan was on BBCQT last night riding the Spiked cult hobby horses about lockdowns & climate change. She attacked net zero & claimed it was unpopular within the public, not because it is but because the cult wants it to be. Why do the show’s producers think this worldview needs more airtime?

Moving towards the same conclusion in my last article:

Goodwin’s racism shouldn’t be a matter of opinion. Even Grok agrees.

Right wing accusations of BBC pro-trans bias based on claims such as this: independent production teams coordinating in secret to allow trans people to participate in quizzes that are broadcast on the same night.

The guy who subsidises the survival of GBNews and The Spectator doesn’t want the BBC to survive either. There is nothing can or should be doing to appease this lot - they believe Attenborough documentaries are biased towards the ‘green lobby’.

A new student society for students who hate universities, and everyone in them, and still went to one for some reason.

A MAGA company owning our defence infrastructure doesn’t seem prudent or ethical.

Lots of great points in this. This assessment of radical/hard/populist/far right chimes with my article on ARC. Regressive neoliberalism - a smaller state that only serves the interests of the in-group. Failed regressive ideas repackaged as radical thinking.

If Reform won it would be an opportunity for Marshall to kill the BBC. He sees it through the lens of conspiracy theorists who were radicalised during the pandemic - as state propaganda. There is nothing the BBC can do to appease positions that aren’t reality based.

This is indistinguishable from the C19th racism used to justify colonialism. What does ‘visibly inferior’ mean? For ‘liberal ruling class’ see Lisa Nandy and various Northerners in the QT audience selected to represent a cross section of the public.

Tells us everything that’s wrong with uk national media, which privileges bullshit debates over establishing facts on the ground, and shows GBNews is nothing but a propaganda channel.

The Observer article really underestimates what Grokipedia represents within the current political climate. This entry implies racist pseudoscience is scientifically valid. It’s another threshold crossed on a disturbing trajectory.

Fantastic, erudite, and provocative essay. Recommended for anyone interested literacy, AI, and education and the future of humanity: "For it is AI that has given the American ruling class the final impetus to more or less abolish education".

Wikipedia says Shaheen is an academic. BBCQT implies you can’t trust what she says b/c she’s an ‘activist’. Someone who Wikipedia calls ‘a former academic’ who now campaigns for Reform & wants to be its first Home Secretary is an ‘academic & author’ who you can trust. Maybe they use Grokipedia now.

Unsurprisingly, Grokopedia appears to be a pseudoscientific knowledge system for white suprematists. Here’s its entry for Charles Murray.
