It really does! I'll come on to fishing and sailing and stuff in the next few posts but it's not easy and it will absolutely kill you if you do it wrong.

The beach is... ok, if you don't go *in* the water - there is an actual hot beach on Lake Taupo and that was rather pleasant when I visited!
