Just read that the pilot of the sailplane, we saw during our climb up the Ettaler Manndl and swerved to avoid a crash into the rocks, did in fact crash a moment later. Very sad.

Climbed up to the Ettaler Manndl today. My son gathered 2kg of clay along the way. Complained that it is not enough. A short Google search for "Dachau clay" reveals that Dachau is built on clay. Even the name originates from mittelhochdeutsch clay. There is enough clay now.
