If that wasn't crazy enough I have now received an email from FedEx from our good friends at the Department for Immigration and Homeland Security (ICE) stating that My Heritage have to provide a note on company letterheaded note paper stating whether or not the DNA sample is plant, human or animal.

A few days ago I sent a DNA sample back to the USA to a company called My Heritage who use DNA samples to try and get an idea of where in the world you might be from. I had already been through the rigmarole of along with FedEx what the tariff might be, and yes, you have to pay tariffs on this.

If you haven't already it's probably a good idea to make sure that you have adequate supplies of food and water put by, and to make sure that you have torches and candles and other forms of light close to hand. If you have a battery pack now is probably the time to make sure that it's charged.
