Just recently started getting into cognacs and holy shit where has this been my entire adult life?!

Raid boss music in Final Fantasy XIV just hits different.

Outside of just being certified bangers, I LOVE that the lyrics and tone directly relate to the personas of their characters.

And they always remind me of their rich background story.

I think FFXIV is the first MMO I've played where - more often than not - there's an abundance of tanks and I need to switch to dps. I've almost always experienced the opposite in other games.

As a tank main for 10 years switching to dps for raiding...dps is absolutely more challenging. Respect.
