Music, cycle "cultist", beer, cooking, Routemasters, "leftard", "woke"...
We use something like this to give our darling psychopaths any medicine they require. It works a treat.
This is not an endorsement, pther brands are available...

Picked up recently for a snip. It's excellent stuff, as expected, because it's Bobbie Gentry.
12 tracks from her BBC show recorded in 1968 & 69. All tracks are specially recorded for the show with backing from luminaries such as John Cameron, Herbie Flowers, Danny Thompson and Alan Parker. 5* stuff.

24 years since Kirsty's death. Someone else posted Kite, Kirtsy's first great LP, that spurred me to dig out her other near perfect LP.

Outside of the dancefloor environment the Orb used the 12" single format used to it's very best affect.
The Blue Room is up next.

First record...Blue is the Colour, by Chelsea FC. The best football song, by a football team, bar none.

Yazoo are one of those record labels that you can pick up one of their issues "on spec". Almost every record (or CD) will be a great pressing, with excellent sound and a superb collection of music.
This one is no exception.

Are drivers cash cows or just incapable of behaving themselves?

Sue Instrumentals: 1959 - 1967 "The Beat Is On"
Cracking stuff, Hammond Organ, stinging guitar, bluesy, souly, funky.
"All about my girl" by Jimmy McGriff, is impossible to sit still to.
You don't need to sing along to everything.

You don't have any Hawaiian guitar in your record collection?
Why ever not?

Drivers are well known for sticking to the speed limits, so this is all very strange...

Very excited, today. I popped into my local record shop, Square Records www.booksandvinyl.co.uk . Stone me I didn't know this was available. The first time on vinyl since ir was issued almost 40 years ago, unless I'm very much mistaken.
I'm alone in the house and loving it.

Half-way through side one, it's brilliant! This is an excellent re-issue, it's rather limited so go and grab it.
I've got a handful of Lilac Time CDs, including a Fontana era compilation, which I've always enjoyed.
Time to head into the garage and dig 'em out.

It's time for some Motown, or as we call in over in UK Tamla Motown. Actually this LP is from 1964, before EMI launched the Tamla Motown label.
Lots of great early sounds from before the HDH songs began to epitomise what most people thought was Motown.

Mostly known for:
A run of superb singles over a 10 year period
Angelic harmonies
Bringing the country tradition of close harmony singing to pop music fans
Coming from a family steeped in music
Hating each other
Influencing many others

They also recorded, a few, absolutely cracking albums.

I'm waiting for a sensible answer, I'm not holding my breath. Apprently my hobbies of listening to music, cooking, going for a walk and photography means I support pushing increased congestion upon others.
Very interesting

I've been waiting for this to be reissued on vinyl for absolutely ages, it's so good. To have this and HMS Fable reissued and on my turntable within 5 weeks is just making me very happy.
Hopefully this means that "Sunday at Devil Dirt" and "Hawk" will be following soon...🤞
