This is a corporate, carceral, anti-migrant, anti-environment, anti-Indigenous agenda. More policing, extraction & distraction, all while gutting services. This isn’t about "freedom"—it’s about control. Don’t fall for the rhetoric. #cdnpoli #PierrePoilievre #CanadaFirst

[10] Interprovincial trade = deregulation: Poilievre frames "removing barriers between provinces" as economic freedom—but it’s really about gutting provincial protections for workers, the environment, and consumers. It’s a race to the bottom in wages and safety.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[9] Austerity & tax cuts for the rich: Poilievre’s has framed out a "Bring it Home Tax Cut" which really means gutting public services—cuts to health, education, transit—while slashing corporate taxes and pretending it helps workers.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[8] Mass deportations, racism & anti-immigrant policies: He want to make immigration harder, deploy military to the border, add 2,000 new border agents and expand their powers which will lead to Trump like removals. He blames migrants for bring the "world's problems" to Canada.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[7] Culture war distractions: He wants to criminalize statue vandalism, celebrate John A Macdonald & change the passport design—as if that will improve people’s lives. These are classic right-wing tactics to stir up division and distract from real issues.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[6] Militarization: Poilievre wants to build a new Arctic military base, buy more F-35 jets, submarines, and warships. Instead of investing in solutions for people or the climate, he's fuelling the military-industrial complex.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[5] Coercing Indigenous nations to accept pipelines: He wants to let fossil fuel companies redirect their taxes to impoverished First Nations to "incentivize" support. This isn't reconciliation or self-determination—it’s corporate colonialism.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[4] Resource extraction at all costs: Poilievre is pushing a West-to-East pipeline from the Prairies to New Brunswick. More oil extraction, more emissions, more Indigenous land theft, more climate collapse—all to serve corporate profits.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[3] More jails: Instead of harm reduction, Poilievre will repeal C-5 and C-75, which rolled back Harper-era mandatory minimums. This will lock up more people—especially Black, Indigenous, migrant and poor people—while continuing wealth inequity and extraction.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[2] Mass incarceration disguised as drug policy: Poilievre is proposing mandatory life sentences for fentanyl trafficking. But we know this doesn’t protect health or people—it just fuels mass incarceration, disproportionately targeting excluded communities.
February 16, 2025 at 8:36 PM
[1] Deeper US integration: Ignore all the bluster - Poilievre starts his speech calling on the US to "team up" with Canada, deepening economic & military integration with the U.S., locking Canada further into Trump's wars, trade policies, and right-wing agenda.

Build beyond the election.

Every person we mobilize now must stay involved.

The fight doesn’t end at the ballot box. We’ll need this momentum in the hard days ahead.

Stopping Poilievre’s agenda is possible—but only if shake off the slump and get to work.

Voter mobilization:

+ Join/grow effective organizations in battleground ridings.
+ Mobilize voters most likely to oppose him.
+ Focus on turnout, especially on election day.

Elections are won by those who show up.

We only defeat the agenda if we keep going after the elxns.

6: Focus on battlegrounds.

We can’t win everywhere, but we can stop Poilievre in key ridings.

There are 122 battlegrounds in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver & suburbs where the Conservatives can be blocked. These areas hold the key to denying him a majority.

5: Reject “no alternative” thinking.

Liberals let many down, but Poilievre will be worse. Harper’s cuts still harm us today.

Tell people to:
+ Learn about local candidates.
+ Wait for issue-based rankings.
+ Wait for local polls and vote for the what they believe in.
January 7, 2025 at 11:16 PM
4: Speak to people where they are.

There isn't a unified public. Everyone needs a different message.

Reach key groups:
+ Listen to their concerns.
+ Show how Poilievre harms them directly.
+ Offer real alternatives: A better future is possible, and its easier if he’s defeated.

+ Poilievre talks “freedom,” but his agenda means:
>> Lower wages
>> Higher housing & healthcare costs
>> Environmental collapse
>> More corporate power
+ ETC!

He’s not a champion of the working class—he’s part of the elite.

Let’s remind people of who he really works for.
January 7, 2025 at 11:16 PM
3: Expose Poilievre’s agenda.

He names real problems but offers harmful solutions:
+ Healthcare: He slashed billions & will privatize
+ Housing: His policies enrich developers, not renters.
+ Carbon Tax: Ending it won't make groceries affordable
January 7, 2025 at 11:16 PM
2: Elections are about choosing opposition.

A Liberal or NDP minority isn’t perfect—but it got us childcare, dental care & pharmacare (not good but forward considering the power we have).

A humbled Conservative minority is better than an emboldened Poilievre majority.
January 7, 2025 at 11:16 PM
1: Stop saying “it’s over.”

Acting like Poilievre’s win is inevitable only strengthens his momentum. Instead remember:

+ Past defeats of right-wing agendas.
+ People are mad at Trudeau, not sold on Poilievre.
+ Your belief in strategic action
+ They want you hopeless

This fight is bigger than one election. It’s about rejecting a global shift towards anti-people policies, war, and climate disaster.

Poilievre’s momentum is the reason we must fight harder.
