Classic bluesky smear job.

And because we live in an age of illiteracy, none of your followers will read the full column to find out you’re lying. Incredible.

Social media was a mistake.

@ezrakleinbot.bsky.social derangement syndrome can be cured simply by reading the rest of the column.

More centrist than left though works in some places, they did well in states that were trending towards Trump in 2024 and dominated one year later.

To win the Senate, we’re gonna need a few centrists in some redder states to win. While having Zohran types in places like New York

Big tent politics!

Most of the attention was on Mamdani.

Not saying his victory isn’t significant, just that Spanberger and Sherrill are big too and shouldn’t be ignored, and deserve their own mention as well.
November 5, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Thank you for doing a post specifically for Spanberger and Sherrill only.

Of course Mamdani deserves celebration, but it’s worth noting that Spanberger and Sherrill running as two moderates in tougher states (Trump made gains in 2024 in Virginia and New Jersey) pulled off much bigger wins.

Oh is it Arizona. So Kelly.

What state are you and Meg in? Which senators are these?

As evidenced by the poster not linking the article and just posting it as a picture

Part of the issue is the soft left’s economic policy agenda is just nonsensical. The emphasis on a wealth tax. When every time Labour have raised taxes - nondom, farmers tax, employers national insurance - it’s basically backfired.

The soft left could be stronger if they had ideas beyond taxes

On your third post, is funny that while Leo isn’t into promotion stuff as much he was ok with going on New Heights.

Wonder how much actors now are frustrated by the influencer sect that ask silly questions during press tours, but ok with podcasts who have chill interviewers

In fairness to the trailer creators, a long chunk of the middle section of the movie and even the latter is basically an action movie. Where there’s not much plot.

I had lot of fun regardless but sympathise with the guys responsible for doing a trailer for it.

A classic film poster would help tho

Sally Jenkins was a fairly progressive writer at the Washington Post on endless topics in the sports section. I don’t think she actually agrees with Weiss, just thought the Atlantic piece was a persuasive argument.

In an age of prediction markets, the level of “insider trading” is going through the roof in general.

The other day a student asked me about the prevalence of insider trading in prediction markets. I now have an answer.

It’s sad, but good YouTube’ers have explained multiple times that it’s the only way to attract views.

Zoomer brains read less and require these pictures to entice them. It’s a sad reflection on zoomers reading less and their short video addiction issues + poor attention span, but it is what it is.

You’re going to have to explain how 2 Supreme Court justices could “stop this” please. The court rules on majority votes. See Roe v Wade. What were 2 supposed to do then?!

It still ties to the growth of short videos replacing reading.

The decline of reading and rise of short videos is exactly the perfect conditions that right wing populism succeeds in. Trump voters are less likely to read news articles than Harris votes.

Trumpers consume news through short videos.

Yet another example of the Online Right and right wing press confusing their American Republican fuelled algorithms on Twitter, for the sentiment and culture of the British public.

When I speak to young people, it’s important to understand that it’s not just all of news they use TikTok for.

Many use TikTok as a replacement for Google search. The decline of Google search v TikTok and ChatGPT is an underrated story. Google search has declined itself in quality too tbf

Don’t know if you follow any uk politics but leaked Epstein emails also got Peter Mandelson, famous Blairite figure in New Labour history and was serving as ambassador to the US until recently, fired from his job.

Why is it any more unpleasant than saying “brexitwave”?

Is it the wave part? It’s just a term for increase, associating it with Brexit/Conservative Party

There’s a lot of normies if you will, who use Twitter to follow sports, movies, pop culture. They’re voting citizens, if not full time political engagement people.

The idea of leaving Twitter’s political content to only the far right seems like an error. You can just use more than one platform.
