I'm glad you wife was OK. I'm assuming the deer was not and hoping it was over quickly. I've known officers that had to put injured animals down rather than let them suffer on the side of the road.

I've gotten my last 2 bread machines at thrift stores. I bought the 2nd when it seemed like the first was starting to struggle but it held on for another year. Paid maybe $10 for each. They were older models in like new shape. Still using the 2nd once every week or two.
