Here's the reality of AI - If it fails people lose jobs and the economy crashes. If it succeeds people lose jobs and we are enslaved by these billionaires. Also, our species might be replaced and humanity itself is in danger.

Best thing is AI fails. Agentic AI is a threat to humanity

This is the thing. In a populous world with scarcity of water, data centres sucking ridiculous amounts of power and the best land owned by these companies and their billionaire owners, these companies will still own a considerable amount of power and influence even if their share prices tank

He's saying the truth that reducing emissions is already not good enough. We have overshot the deadlines to get away with just doing this. In other words, current levels of C02 are not compatible with long term human survival

National Geographic had indicated they would buy the exclusive rights to this series, but new owners Disney decided that “climate and environment are no longer priorities for us”.

Thankfully Al Jazeera saw the value in the series and bought it. But …

15 billion plus fines from 2030 onwards mean we won't have to worry about this problem if we haven't got on the property ladder. Of course paying extortionate rents, often to top up rich foreigners pensions, will continue uninterrupted
