SOMA is a great action horror game which plays like a survival horror, but is more psychological than it seems. It puts players in the role of someone trying to grapple with the idea of transferrable consciousness and making them feel what its like when their awareness is truly portable.

Returnal is an awesome RPG game playing like an action shooter in an alien world, but in reality fighting through the psychological constructions of grief and guilt. It returns you to the same world every time you complete it, giving a new meaning unlocking new content on story completion.

Running with Rifles is a beautiful action RPG which puts you in the shoes of a rank & file soldier. Death has very little punishment and ammo is plenty. It makes you feel like there are two armies fighting for control, hurling bodies at each other in a relaxed artstyle with little gore & violence.

Lets talk about RPG games today.
Remnant 2 is an amazing RPG, where you get to explore every nook and cranny in a randomly generated world, cleverly designed for replayability. It makes you feel the environment like very few games do, in order to find the satisfying secrets in its levels.
