How have people not grasped it'll just be escalating levels of purity testing as they gradually turn on each other?

I'll probably use the same blue for some highlighting around the dropship, like the little chevron looking bits on the...egg rim? Whatever you call that part.

Oh, you'll also note there's a little Eris hiding in the corner! First time I've had to assemble a mini, and I am *not* good at it

I'm still incredibly happy and shocked that my unit got canonised, especially given that it fits with the ideas I had all that time ago. Maybe one day I'll sit down and write up a proper unit history for them, even if it's just for my own enjoyment.

What happens next? Who knows, but I like to think that the Aces picked up some of the remnants of shattered commands from the brutal fighting on Taygeta, building back up to company strength for the battle of New Avalon and then fighting alongside the Dawn Guards once more

Probably helped by having had exposure to the Dawn Guards during CERBERUS, who are largely ex-Republic. Uziel sees these people who desperately want to protect the Inner Sphere, and is inspired to fight alongside side them, seeing them as ideologically kindred spirits

At this point, the available canon lore runs out. I have my own thoughts about what I would do next given the motivations and backstory I have for the character. I think that Uziel would take Julian Davion up on his offer of landholdings in exchange for fighting to liberate New Avalon

The logic here would be that the collapse of the FedSuns would destabilise the entire Inner Sphere and cause immense loss of life in the former FedSuns. Uziel's interpretation of the Warden philosophy means that's not an acceptable outcome, and he feels honour bound to help prevent it

In order to rebuild, Uziel takes what he's got left (one lance) and joins up with the Lone Wolves. At some point in 3147 they decide to break away and go independent again, and join in with the FedSuns on Operation CERBERUS (Mjolnir notable pilot entry, TRO Dark Age)

That's about as far as I got. Incorporating the stuff from the Kell Hounds pilot card, at some point some Clanners figure out what's going on and decide to lay the smackdown on Uziel's Aces, on the grounds that a Clanner going Merc is basically peak Dezgra behaviour

He's asked to provide them reports on battlefield trends (a bit of market intelligence) as well as conveniently being deployed to planets where there's rumours of functional HPGs, or people trying novel repair methods. The Sea Foxes don't want to show their hand too versus ComStar

Uziel Huntsig, now renamed Uziel Erlich (love the name btw Po Ding!) agrees to work with the Sea Foxes, who in return want to use him as an extension of their Watch to help feed them information. He recruits some forces on Galatea, and begins work on a series of defensive contracts
July 13, 2025 at 10:57 PM
He is advised that a Clanner going Merc might not go down so well, and it is suggested that he conceal his origins as a Ghost Bear Trueborn. By some means (I never quite figured this part out), he makes contact with some #SeaFoxes who offer to give him a fake identity as an ex-Republic soldier
July 13, 2025 at 10:56 PM
He retired from military service (something which is allowable in the Dominion) and sets out to find a way to protect the people of the Inner Sphere from the chaos of the Blackout, having heard of the trials and tribulations which eventually lead to formation of the Vega Protectorate
July 13, 2025 at 10:53 PM
The original idea was that a #RasalhagueDominion trueborn grew tired of seeing all the chaos following the Blackout, and decided that the Warden philosophy didn't (should that be did not? 😜) quite go far enough. Rather than sitting back, he believed that Wardens should proactively fight for humanity

The unpainted mechs are the team comp me and my friends use when we play MWO (we wolfpack the enemy back line to pick off assaults). They're getting painted up in 50th Striker Cluster colours at some point.
