the way I learned music to begin with was by making covers of other songs I liked! it’s the best way to learn what makes your favorite songs tick so you can replicate those techniques later

Well I suck ass at naming WIPs so I doubt I’d be much help. The folder I keep my exports in is home to such gems as:

- Change Ralsei’s dialogue in the Field referencing his Pacify spell to reference Lullaby instead

- Somehow clarify what Susie’s Throw does before the second K.Round fight. I got it because I played official Chapter 1 recently but other players might miss it

- Not sure if possible, but perhaps change Susie’s PSI Buster to be named something else once she becomes controllable in the party, since it’s a damage-dealing move in the Susie+Lancer fight but deals mercy later. Rude Buster also always does damage in DR so it would make sense to change the name

- Make “POWER” lowercase in the menu or replace it with “ACT”. Alternatively, you could replace “Goods” with “ITEM” and capitalize “Equip” and “Status” to bring it very close to Deltarune’s menu. Anything works, the capitalized POWER just sticks out a little right now. Honestly not too important

- Change “enemy is x% more spared” in battle to “x points of kindness to enemy”. It’s a bit closer to how EarthBound phrases damage but also preserves the mercy aspect and lines up with Deltarune’s own jokes (e.g. “You told Ralsei to deal the final blow of kindness!” in Lancer+Susie fight)

this icon (made for a tweak that converts native twitter on iOS 6 to Bluesky) is based on the old iOS twitter icon which actually also has the drop shadow. it’s accurate to the inspiration/source material
