The Democratic Party is a failure. They are as much of a traitor to democracy, and to the American people, as the MAGA Republicans are. Their passive, bare minimum virtue signaling that they dare desecrate the word "action" over is abhorrent behavior. They are complicit in their sheer inaction against Republicans, and they deserve to be made examples of -- not just as spineless cowards who refuse to take the threat against them seriously, not just as pathetic losers who refuse to offend their political opponents in any meaningful way, but as individuals willfully allowing authoritanianism into a country they supposedly hold dear. The mere idea that they think they can take the high road and still be seen positively in the court of public opinion as Republicans continue to steamroll any and all human decency while willfully misleading the public should be cause for equal amounts alarm and action. Yet it isn't. They should be fucking ashamed of themselves. They should be publicly committing seppuku for such dishonorable, passive, outright cuckold behavior against the very Constitution they swore to uphold. A pox on them and their lineage for such willful allowance of the destruction of an international superpower.

so l've been listening to the Big Finish Doctor Who story "Technophobia", a story about people getting very afraid of technology shortly after the introduction of a touchscreen-only tablet computer with voice assistant, conceived of by "one of the greatest minds of our time" sometime around the very start of the 2010s, and leads to everyone unable to even comprehend our own world, let alone the technology it has so yeah, very unrealistic

so I cancelled my subscription to MoveOn, not least of which because of all the spam, mostly due to the feeling that they're not actually able to do anything.

This is the automatic email they sent after processing that cancellation. Truly, some real urgency towards the threat of democracy here.

So Guilloti-- I mean Google is apparently IP banning anyone using an alternative YouTube client, effectively preventing people from using their service even if they try to use official means afterwards.

I say this because I found out first-hand, and this is what I had to say after.
