Unfortunately, I have a Facebook. I deleted mine in 2009 when it became clear so many of my extended family were racist assholes. But I had to set up a new one in order to operate our fire department’s page. Upwards of 80% of our comms go through community Facebook groups. Sadly it’s a safety thing.

You can also just add your membership to your phone’s wallet. Works for membership verification and payment if you’ve got their credit card. No need for the app.

This is a really good point. It would be nice if manufacturers offered these as features and not as the default way to interact with the products. Best of both worlds.

Based upon declassified documents, judging his presidency hardly seems fair given the subterfuge that hamstrung his efforts. He was an example of compassion and love for humankind and I love that we are remembering him for that.
