The late 60s proved to be a dark endurance test for the Stones - Brian Jones death, the shelving of 'Performance' for 2 years, becoming embroiled & unnerved by Kenneth Anger's occult dabblings & of course Altamont. The band would never really be the same, or matter like they once did.

I couldn't of put that any finer myself - I think he's a marvelous filmmaker, although one that has fallen into a certain comfortable predictability & particular expectation of the themes he chooses to make film's on.

Oh fantastic, that's a place I've always wanted to visit but not had chance as yet. I love all those groups you've mentioned there, often feel like I'm born out of my time. Strange you mentioning one half of a band because I'm listening to Paul Simon right now.

I appreciate the thought, I genuinely do, you've a good heart. 🥰 And, regarding the Dylan picture, there are definitely better documentaries out there on him, however you are correct. Much of the film industry sadly is geared towards overhype in order to make money which quite frankly is sad.

Thank you Tosha, I keep attempting to get someone in a professional realm to take me on board, but nothing as yet which is frustrating! As for the hype, sadly it's just that, the same applied to that recent film on Bob Dylan, truly appalling. Hopefully Del Toro's next film will fare better..?
