Crunchyroll channel on roku is airing To Your Eternity, weirdly enough it’s subbed. Guess they can’t air the dub now because of the new season. It also doesn’t have subtitles so guessing this could’ve been last minute and they just forgot to add the subs.

Crunchyroll channel has a Halloween themed logo when you view in in the “Live TV” tab on Roku. No special bumpers or anything from the looks of it.

Turns out the channel was also released on Plex, don’t know why it wasn’t mentioned.

Really weird that on their Linkedin post they use a picture with the updated branding on the post advertising this, but they just haven’t updated the channel with the new branding. Funny enough, the PlutoTV ads for the channel use the current CR Branding.

Crunchyroll just expanded their FAST channel to Samsung TV Plus, hopefully this means new shows soon (probably not but a guy can dream 🫩)

Turns out this isn’t exclusive to Crunchyroll’s FAST Channel, it’s like this for on demand shows too, aswell as shows on Retrocrush’s channel

Crunchyroll’s FAST channel on the Roku Channel for some reason changed the photos for some of the shows to a default background with the name of the anime (in Japanese mind you). It also ends at 00:01 and 00:29 randomly again, it’s either dying or they’re doing something, maybe adding more shows?

Anime FAST Channels are so much cooler outside of the U.S. ngl. Recently found out Aniplus has a Samsung TV Plus channel in the Philippines with subtitles, and they simulcast anime on it. Just watched an episode of Ruri Rocks, Crunchyroll could never 🫩

Sony is actually running the ad on the Crunchyroll FAST channel of the new Demon Slayer movie, now if they’d actually air the show on the channel, easiest advertisement and they just haven’t attempted it.

Animation+ is airing Superman: The Animated Series on their FAST channel on August 9th. Don’t know if it’s an error with the schedule, they air the Fischer Superman cartoon, but that’s because it’s in the public domain, Superman TAS isn’t in the public domain.

Would be cool if Crunchyroll aired an anime from this year on their FAST channel, not surprising that they don’t tho, considering they’re in a much better position than Hidive

Yapped to Remow about my ideas to improve their FAST channel and they may actually take them into consideration, we are so back.

Crunchyroll and Retrocrush’s FAST channel’s are the only Anime FAST channels with a good schedule and it’s honestly sad. HiDive, It’s Anime, Anime All Day just marathon an anime for hours, nearly the whole day.

First episode didn’t have subtitles, second episode does, you saved yourself HiDive.

Remow’s FAST channel is kinda cool cause they’re airing new episodes of anime that they own like Tougen Anki the day the episode comes out. No other anime FAST channel is running new episodes of currently running anime. Sucks it’s exclusive to Samsung TV+ but I have a Kodi addon for it

Hidive is airing Sorairo Utility on their Roku FAST channel which is interesting because it’s an anime that released this year. Don’t know if they’ve done it before but it would be nice if they started to air more anime that released in the past two years on the channel.
