Idealised image in 1939 poster!Leckhampton has grown massively in the intervening 85 years. Some recent, controversial development stands out here! I’m on the right of image in housing that would have been modern and perhaps contentious in 1939.

Very busy Saturday. This piece particularly caught my eye.
The Station building , after many years of neglect, is undergoing restoration . As part of Cirencester History Festival a wonderful display , 3D virtual reality model , copies of Brunel’s original drawings and community engagement project .
