As a short person myself, the worst thing about being short are precisely other people's attitudes about height. I'm surprised that even a leftist like yourself can have such a close-minded opinion.

Now, I suppose the original post wasn't really meant to be all that serious, but I still feel like it isn't really appropriate. Statements like these only further push short people into thinking there is something wrong with being short and thus making them more insecure.

Or are these video game characters just not completely defined and the developers are asking the players to complete them? Wouldn't it then be the same as if a writer left some pages blank and expected the reader to fill them in?

But doesn't this contribute to the ludo narrative dissonance? Or the dissonance between the player and the character? Like, the way a character expresses their opinions etc. is what makes them them. So isn't it more like just giving the player an opportunity to butcher a character?
