PSA: if you must do butt stuff a flared base is your friend. Your colon just loves to gobble up non-flared base toys and you will get an ER visit for your troubles. Yes, I get to see what you used along with the perforated colon. Stay safe out there!

On the first day after Christmas my surgeon gave to me… an unpreped (full of poop) colon and a stopped up sink. 🤢

I don’t usually giggle while grossing specimens but then I get a partial sleeve gastrectomy (stomach stapling) which is chock full of crinkle fries. I just can’t contain myself.
