I doubt this announcement will do much. Many Australians don’t even know what GDP is, therefore without the detail it’s just another election announcement. Plus, many have already decided their vote. Desperation from the LNP.

I think community sentiment on his issue runs deeper than the genocide in Gaza. The electorate feels lied/betrayed as left leaning parties are meant to support human rights, international law & justice etc. But here they are protecting their pro-Israeli lobbyists’ interests like the far right does.

I think the swing is away from major parties which will mean more independents - I’d be happy to see a left leaning/Teals minority gov.
