Apparently some of you feel that I left you hanging. Fair.

In Claude Shannon's brilliant 1951 paper on estimating the entropy of the English language, he has people try to guess the next letter in a sentence and uses their performance to estimate.

His answer in this case was "motorcycle".
first line is the original text and the numbers in the second line indicate the guess at which the correct letter was obtained. Would be better to focus on important things,

like the arriving existential crisis of our generation,

and the message that surviving it is possible, if we have tremendous unity of purpose.
