The timing is synchronistic, because in the past 48 hours we’ve seen what happens when people come together in solidarity to DENY, DEFEND, DEPOSE.

Writing those words on bullet casings used on the assassination of a prominent figure in the insurance industry sends a clear message: Deny corrupt institutions. Defend our communities. Depose their power.

What’s interesting is how these words echo the title of the book: “Delay, Deny, Defend: Why Insurance Companies Don’t Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It.”

The key difference is that the word “delay” was swapped for “depose.”

Depose (verb). “remove from office suddenly and forcefully.”
