Germany’s break out time for a deliverable nuclear warhead is less than 12 months. Japan’s is even less. Canada could build one in a couple years with huge domestic fuel reserves. Russia and the U.S. without nuclear leverage are just a couple of militaristic countries that aren’t well-liked.

He’s high on drugs. Very much like Howard Hughes in some ways, all the bad ways. I bet he meets the same end.

Why do folks step down in these situations? I’d be like, go ahead and fire me. I didn’t do anything wrong and I’m not going anywhere unless you nut up and put your name on a fucking letter.

Particularly interesting to me: Wilson has repeatedly tweeted the phrase "Ausländer Raus" (foreigners out), an incredibly polarizing phrase in Germany explicitly tied to neo-Nazi and extremist movements; when it's been chanted in public recently in German it's created huge controversy.
