So only 33% think its worth it. Yet, 47.5% of full time jobs age 25+ are filled by people with BS+ (bls Usual Weekly Earnings of Wage and Salary Workers). Rs doing all they can to further destroy jobs for BS+ but somehow I suspect they will still be needed for civilization

Just a year ago we hired a biochemist with phd plus 8 yrs postdoc for 70k. Was actually the same as my salary was when I started, inflation-adjusted. It is ridiculously low

I did both of these to remedy this problem at my ucc church. Glad to say we now have 15+ kids (not all mine). And we have a rotating cast of about 10 people willing to teach , so that we each get plenty of breaks.
