Been making my own birthday cake as an excuse to bake more. This years birthday snuck up so went simple.

It's a fudgy dark chocolate cake with a dark chocolate ganache.

Very happy with how moist and well this one turned out!

A little late but made some brownies for Saint Patrick's Day. Replaced insta coffee with a brewed dark roast in every layer, and there's irish cream in the icing/ganache layers.

One of my few go to desserts for the winter, hot chocolate cookies. In this, I replaced sugar with hot chocolate mix (works best with hot chocolate similar in texture to sugar) and cut 1/4th of marshmellow to be sandwiched inside.

Gonna start posting a few desserts I've made starting with one I made for my mom's birthday, a caramel macchiato tres leches cake!

Got to make my own caramel for the first time and somehow didn't mess it up!
