This was one morning last week, behind me the sky was still so dark, but the clouds were pretty.

My older relatives, who made it back from WW2, didn’t ever tell war stories. Only occ would my uncle show the scar from his navel to almost his spine that went right through & took half his gut.
What they did always say was:
‘War is ugly and terrible and should ONLY EVER be a VERY LAST RESORT’

I move snails if I see them on the path, I can’t help it.
Call me an utter sap, but on the couple of occs I’ve accidentally stood on 1 I’ve felt so bad.
Just the thought makes me cringe, I love snails.
I also have to move them so this little rogue doesn’t eat them, bc she eats anything!
