Books I stumbled on recently and had never heard of: The Gospel of Eels (Svensson), Last Days in Old Europe (Bassett), The Kamogawa Food Detectives (Kashiwai). I read of few pages of each in-store, thought "yep," and loved all three.

I never really understood the wrapping of the Reichstag at the time, not until it was explained so wonderfully in the final episode of Neil MacGregor's remarkable "Germany: Memories of a Nation" BBC radio series.

Dark is good, too, also rated 15 on Netflix. Any other suggestions? The Babylon Berlin series is tremendous, though not on Netflix, and probably not 15

Wasn't there a case during Covid of someone called in to their GP for early vaccination as clinically obese, having put their height in feet and inches instead of cm, so BMI was calculated on someone 5.9cm tall or something?

My mother used to feed us this in the 60s, served with a rotary cheese grater loaded with a block red Leicester. We loved it
