Oh man, I used to love tabling at AWP for the journal I edited. Most people going to AWP do not know how to pitch themselves or their projects, but every now and then someone would surprise you.

Regularly purging books is necessary. Whenever I ran out of shelf space, I'd take out some shopping bags and go shelf by shelf: at least five books per shelf had to go. I've known some book hoarders and they inevitably wound up destroying all the books they hoarded via neglect (bugs, leaks, mold).
