“I really don’t want us to grow up in a country where a kid telling a stupid joke telling a very offensive stupid joke is cause to ruin their lives,” Vance said.

Here're headshots of four of the "kids" J.D. was referring to.

Responding to the email pictured:

No, thank you. Nothing against Bad Bunny; however, for me, the thought of “pledging” to watch anything is distasteful. The culture I choose to enjoy is based on my artistic sensibilities, not my politics.

Here's SafePilot's typical battery usage. The runs hot too, which degrades electronics. So I turn it off when I'm not driving. But apparently that led to the notice from USAA (see above, 1 of 2) that I could lose discounts if they can't monitor me 24/7. No response from USAA about this. (2 of 2)

USAA's SafePilot is a phone app that monitors my driving. I'm not overly impressed with its accuracy, but it has been getting me discounts on my auto insurance policy. Unfortunately, I've discovered that uses lots of battery power and overheats my device. (1 of 2)

I needed a replacement cable for a JBL product. On their support web page, they give a number to text to ask a question. I did. They didn't respond for nearly 3 hours, and ended with a threat to disconnect me if I didn't respond with 1 minute. It happened again overnight. See transcript below.

I remember snow flurries this time of year. But now, decades later, the leaves on some some trees are still brilliant.

I first spotted this despicable sign alongside four or five equally disturbing ones. It's disheartening to think that messages like these could be seen as helpful to the other guy, highlighting how vile our political discourse has become since his infamous ride down the golden escalator.

Thanks, #Google! My FitBit device is completely unusable. The clock face is virtually unreadable & I can't change it. I've been developing software since 1968 and yes, I did add my Wi-Fi network to the app (although it wasn't at all obvious that I needed to do so) and restarted my device. I give up.
