Is that a speaker the Wifi router is on top of?

If so, move it somewhere else. They might not interact at all, but there's a large body of evidence to suggest that Wifi routers can cause speakers to distort, and the vibrations from the speaker can damage the router over time.

Don't feed the machine, don't follow the trends.

Be Authentic to yourself, whatever that means for you.

Because I can tell in less than ten seconds, if someone is following the Trend, or is being Authentic. And I leave the trend.

A lot of people do.

We want the best version of you. The real one.

I have little to no interest in watching people feed the machine that says New game play now. That doesn't interest me.

I can and will watch streams 4-8 hours daily, 365 days a year.

I like people to do what they're good at.

You once made me lose the plot, by voicing the sounds in Skyrim.

I like to watch veterans do their 400th run of Skyrim. I like to watch people mod the absolute bells off of Stardew.

The point is: Whatever your niche may be, there's a market for it.

What makes me happiest and enjoy a stream the most? Is people playing to their niche.

I am a Turbo user on Twitch, because I watch upwards of 45 different streams, and subbing to them all is absurdly expensive and I can't afford that. But, I almost never watch whatever the hot new game is.

Most of what I watch? Is comfy things for me. I like watching new players try Star Citizen

P.S. Yes I'm aware we have different local addresses, but Twitch presumably does it based on the actual IP address of the connection, where it'd see we have collectively six streams open.

So are they counting that, or are they not?

What about houses with multiple users under the same IP address?

My partner and I both have a computer and typically watch 2-3 streams each.

Do we not count then?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Sorry you're being invaded by the Red Legion, but I got you this Gjallerhorn so you can fight them off!

(This is a Destiny 2 reference)

And if we don't put in the time to control that, the media will swallow us whole, and make us feel powerless before its relentless onslaught. It's great to be an activist, but you MUST control your space as well, or it will swallow you.

You are allowed a break. Everyone is.

Remember to take one.

The one lesson we have to learn from all this, is that the media is a relentless machine designed specifically to control our mood, and bombard us with negativity. There are algorithms upon algorithms designed specifically for that. Controlling your own space, takes effort. 1/2
