I don't think the fandom at large even thinks of him as a superstar writer in 2025. And that's not to slag him off or anything, it's just reality.

I largely liked his X-Men and his street stuff but I wish he would just stick to his own comics. I get why he doesn't but he doesn't tend to write the entirety of the character and end them in a good place for the next writer up
