There's no particular reason I feel this way (other than general fandom culture can feel pretty imposing at times) but I'm just being hard on myself and others for playing with the nature of fiction. Also I just always have trouble with being misinterpreted or feeling "wrong" in some way ....

like... Why am I embarrassed to write anything? Why am I anxious about the "accuracy" of my headcanons or the viability of a ship? Why am I pouring through hours of detail and dialogue to prove something to myself? Can't I just... you know .. have fun?? Use my imagination? uuooouughhh...
