On Saturday, we did an overdue cleaning of the library. We removed all books and wiped down the shelves with soap & water. We also touched up the paint on the outside and sprayed it with UV protection.

We do it every year to keep the library in top shape.

The inside of our big "Little Free Library" completely empty of all books. All the books, cleaning and paint supplies on the brick wall of our front yard. The brick wall has been cleaned up and the library has been put back together. The inside of the library with all books back on the shelves.

One Library Book Sale and Online Discount Book Shop later, and our back stock went from empty to full. Here's hoping this can last till the end of the year.

The kids at the school across the street are ravenous readers (which is always a good thing).
