What a great call-back and critique. As EDDINGTON rattles around in my head, it's also making me think of NOPE in terms of its ambition to *say something* about image and content and the endless feed.

Wow. Thank you for this whole thread, but especially this post. I moved away in 2017 after 15 years & many hundreds of loops through these streets along the same paths, pursuing movie magic.
