I avoided locker rooms at gyms for years because of that locker room. I didn't realize that's what I was doing, of course.
But after seeing that small room, something in me has changed. I think I managed to make some peace with something I didn't realize I was holding onto.

I mentioned that it was smaller than I remembered and when she was surprised that I remember them so well, I blurted out that it's where I was first bullied.
