61 years ago today: Less-well known photos of the Woolworth Jackson sit-in, these two appeared in several MS papers (as well as elsewhere). Both show protester Memphis Norman, a student at Tougaloo, being beaten by Benny Oliver, an ex-Jackson policeman. Both men were arrested.
