There is no running away from fascism shift; Canada, Sweden, Korea, Japan, all democracies are shifting to the fascist right. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, you can’t escape it. Resistance and living my values where I’m at and the online platform I’m already on is my intent.

SF Bay Area is not ready for a fire like LA is having. If we had the same weather conditions as LA the past six months, it’d be a tinderbox here too. There are building materials that are fire resistant, but prevention and mitigation always comes down to cost.

Best - Wholefoods. Produce is fresh, has all the quality brands I like such as De cecco pasta, Tomi crushed tomatoes.
Runner up - Hmart. Has all the Asian stuff like bok choy and dwenjang.
Worst - Safeway. Awful produce, doesn’t even sell dried beans.

The hypothetical question of “what three things would you grab in an emergency while running out the door?” was reality today when the tsunami warning went off, and in panic, I grabbed my dog, bottles of water, and my steam deck. I guess I fear boredom.

Steam Deck is amazing. I’m playing Resident Evil 4 Remake on custom settings at steady 45 fps. Portable gaming has never looked this good. Poor battery though.

Heat (1995) is such an amazing movie. I’ve last watched it when I was 15 in 1995, and I loved it for its action. Rewatching it now at 43 yo, I loved it for its characters and bank heist plot. Cinematography is unreal, and it really surfaces LA as a city of lights with brooding atmosphere.

Banko Brown thing should’ve gone to court. As I watched the security video few times over, my question was “Are feints thrown at you a cause for self-defense?” Maybe, maybe not, but the court trial by jury is probably the right place to decide.

Resident Evil 4 is game of the year for me. There’s something satisfying blowing zombies away with well placed shots, or suplexing zombies that breaks their neck. Already beat this game twice and I rarely finish games although I start a lot.

Can’t wait for tonight’s Nuggets and Lakers game. The narrative that Lakers solved Jokic with Rui and having AD roaming is insane. NBA coaches and players know how to counter these things, and it’s going to come down to execution, such as making the wide open 3’s that the Nuggets will have a lot of.

Uhh... How long is this video..? I can explain. So this is the last game in the Fabula Nova Crystalis trilogy... Quadrilogy thing. What started off as a spin off of the Final Fantasy XIII series, the game that was formerly known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII would transform into Final Fantasy XV. Final Fantasy 15 had a weird launch, it was pretty clearly unfinished, but who knows, maybe over time it's managed to shed it's reputation. Also Nier Automata makes a quick appearance, I think that's trending now or something. Anyways, come with me as we talk about... Literally everything about Final Fantasy XV.
