Taxes are not merely a way to fund government. They are also a reminder of civic participation, & a way to keep plutocrats in OUR pool of human resources, instead of us in theirs. "Ours" is not a bad word, if you have a government of, by, & for the people. We don't, since Reagan.

Some will take a performative pride in loving the enemy. Some will have genuine pride. Some won't see an enemy. But the worst of them will pipe up with their stupid fucking opinion whilst the rest of the world dances with joy. As much as try to dilute these kill-joys in advance, I see them coming.

You would think so, but I just don't know. I think of neutrinos whipping through me (and the Earth) all the time & it's hard to fathom they don't hit something. There is probably a formula somewhere but its over my head, guess. Maybe there is some repel thing going on, like 2 magnets pushing away?

The video confuses me. Are there 2 shooters, or is the guy shooting from the bridge at the end of the video the same guy who gets tackled at the beginning of the video, and I'm just missing the loop start? TIA

I ask, because the Wikipedia write up likewise says antisemitism but does not offer any evidence of that. If it turns out it was a Jewish community member pissed about some sleight, will it even be possible to walk this back? Will we ever know? TIA.

As a lay person, what determines if what appears to be a cataclysm in outer space would be cataclysmic for us if we were there? For instance, I once read (don't know if it's true) that if the Milky Way collided with Andromeda, we would not be wiped out by the collision.

I think Musk helped him steal the last one, but I've got no proof. And it didn't help that "we" tried to tamp down the J6rs with all that pre-election shit about a "safe and secure" election. If it's even close this time, it's rigged.
