Anouska De Georgiou? Matter of opinion if she were a 'victim'...
Hey @migold.bsky.social, could you ask email recipient @michaelwolffnyc.bsky.social if he stands by claim to have been shown saucy pics of Trump *by Epstein*, and, if so, why he later stated he had no evidence of Trump's involvement?

I'm confused here 'cos while the review is bad ("by any objective measure Robin Hood is terrible") we're told it's also great fun, and thereby throws the Inverse Mangan Programme Picker into disarray.
(The IMPP usually works to perfection, see screenshots for evidence.😀)

Perps are *synthetic* instruments that don't pretend to buy the underlying asset but rather place you in a PvP battle against someone on the other side of the trade: if you're x10 long, someone else is x10 short. The exchange isn't at risk from price movements.

Sanchéz caved to pressure from far left coalition partners in order to keep government intact when scandals hit close associates, ridiculously claiming Spain's ~2% would achieve the same as others' ~5% contributions. He was literally shunned at NATO meeting. (Coalition partners want to leave NATO.🙆‍♂️)

The current lending rate of USDC on Aave (Ethereum) is 4.75% (with 1-year average 4.7%).
The yield is paid *in* USDC by borrowers. No beans here, although there are certainly plenty elsewhere.

Agreed.

"... it is not a specific criminal offence... the aim was to deter offenders..."

Perhaps it should be *made* an offence & then the police could take firm action against those actually breaking the law, rather than acting as some sort of 'pre-crime' educational outreach program.

The Daily Mail beat The Guardian by 24 hours to this 'rat as big as a DOG/cat' tale. It's interesting following the gestation of these stories, noting the differences in style when the source material - photo, quotes - remains the same.
Rushing to publish has its risks:

It seems someone saw him in the street, reported him but the police didn't arrive until he was at home so they won't have seen the tray of vegetables being carried (which could have bolstered the claim of it being a trowel & not a knife).
Overkill on police's part but not something to carry on belt.

According to The Telegraph it was Ruben's stepson who called the police - not an ambulance - on the Sunday. (The police didn't attend until the following day.)

The prosecutor is quoted: "The Crown anticipates further charges and further evidence."

Your comment makes me curious about Bluesky's own algo which, under the 'discover' tab, bombards me with gay Spanish guys in various states of undress. I keep clicking 'show me less of this' to no avail.
I'm not gay... but Bluesky doesn't seem to
believe me!

The Stathern 'poisoning'...
No journalist has established when the kids were discharged from cautionary visit to hospital - same day? - nor how old they were. They felt 'unwell'...
It's now 5 days since the incident. Expect this to fizzle out to nothing.

This was inevitable but let's not forget it was the Biden administration that allowed this dictator-in-waiting back in from the cold.
A terrible decision.

The actions of a 16-year-old that never seem to have progressed beyond fantasizing about what he might have done had he had guns & bombs. But there were no bombs, and the only gun - which sparked alarm - was a prop.
Six years of jail for the (non)actions of a 16-year-old.

Just be sure not to walk down the street with it attached to your belt! Especially if wearing "khaki clothing".

While the 'Hori Hori' is indeed described as a trowel on the manufacturer's site, it's the most fearsome trowel I've ever seen. Nevertheless, it was in its sheath & the police ought to have been able to work out what the situation was. But the Guardian ought to have included an image.

Banks pluck money from the air whereas crypto loans/borrowing on Aave is over-collateralized and there is an effective liquidation system to prevent bad debt from arising. It's a very efficient and battle-tested system. The exchange Kraken will also be using Aave's systems by the sounds of things.

Are these 'agents' any better than the masked thugs rounding up 'terrorists' from the streets of the US? And are the politicians that put them up to it really so different from their US counterparts?
