I’m unhappy with NextJS and have been eyeing Tanstack start as a potential replacement, mainly because I really like react query. Thoughts on it versus other alternatives on the market right now?

Isn’t this still the case for MSQL/Oracle today? Also, you’d be shocked with a pre series a company is spending on Datadog these days, often 5-15k a month, easily the second biggest non salary cost at many b2b companies.

Also cc: @leonatan.bsky.social, have you tried any of the third party native blue sky applications referenced in the write up? If so any thoughts on if they are an improvement to the main app?

@emilyliu.me I enjoyed this write up. Are their any guides for building apps on to of ATproto? Or starter packs of people building things on top of it? Generally curious to see what about people are making and how it contrasts to say farcaster.

You can read @dustyweb.bsky.social write up here. It’s long and goes into a lot of great technical detail about the technical details that make Bluesky quite centralized. Mandatory reading if you are a big nerd like me and into decentralized social. dustycloud.org/blog/how-dec...

Web3 and NFTs need a rebrand focused on the jobs they do. For example, tokenized tickets are very different from collectibles from a user’s perspective, and the naming should reflect that. Just like I don’t care if Ticketmaster uses Postgres or MySQL, I shouldn’t need to know the underlying tech.
