But if you want true visual evolution something like Sway (via Hyprland) would do it.

Curious to know if the trunk is being kept submerged in enough water?
Once air gets into it, the tree starts shedding needles at an accelerated rate (the same happens if the trunk isn't cleaned so that the tree can "drink").

Doesn't seem to universally work though. My Pixel 6a doesn't accept the modified value, but various Samsung's and Motorola's I have laying around did.

In no particular order, the knowledge of all these (and more) is still relevant for any non-trivial apps:
packaging, services, file system, permissions, DI, testing, background work, intent system, Gradle etc.
