Also, for the record, Krita also has a function to record a timelapse! You can find it in the Settings menu > Dockers > Recorder.

There you can set up the folder with the frames, how often will save a frame, the format, etc etc etc. and make a video out of it.

Proper micro treatment

Its matter of luck. For me almost everything worked out of the box, the only things that went badly were two software I use for work that forced me to keep a VM. Outside that, I didnt have any hardware issues, not even with my old nvidia video card.
