I loved visiting Austin for a wedding a few weeks ago. Something from someone coming from San Antonio, I love the buildings and variety of designs (even if the outsides are mostly glass and steel) of modern architecture that downtown SA doesn’t have for the most part

Recessed orange lighting runs in lines along the ceiling, giving the space a sharp, modern look. A Progress Pride Flag with an intersex circle hangs over a central concrete balcony. Below it, the lobby is full of people—some seated, others walking or standing in line. Art hangs on the walls, and natural light from the far entrance brightens the stone and metal textures. The whole place feels active but grounded, like it’s meant for real people to gather and move through.

I love coming back to Denman whenever I can. It’s nice little park inside of #SanAntonio that doesn’t quite match the surrounding area so it can be a bit surprising to find if you’re just wandering around 😅

Furious winds transform the turquoise waters of lago Pehoe into a raging sea, blowing crashing waves side ways & literally lifting the water off the surface! Torres del Paine, Chile. There is so much fleeting beauty to the world of mountains, lasting seconds before it's gone forever. Far above, barely visible, the peak of Paine Grande in Chile's Torres del Paine is transformed into a moment of utter beauty! Patagonia truly is wilderness untamed. It is not just the awe inspiring mountains, but also the stormy, dramatic and rapidly changing weather which make it so very special! Torres del Paine, Chile. This is why I love Patagonia! After a 3 am, 12 km hike to mount Cerro Torre, I was surrounded by drizzle & clouds. It was miserable. But just a few minutes later I was graced by the most beautiful light! Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, Argentina.

Team Oll, Today is my last day with EOIR/OIT. It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of my decision to take the resignation and retirement offer from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This was not an easy decision for me, and I have spent considerable time reflecting on all of the tweets, posts, news casts, emails and other communications about lack of performance under previous administrations. I want to be clear that my decision is not political. My service to the nation has never been about politics. I am simply a person who loved his job and cherished the opportunity to come to work every day to witness the remarkable achievements of this incredible team. Your dedication and hard work have always been the driving force behind my passion for this job. As some of you may know, I am a 100% Disabled Veteran, my mental and physical well being have been negatively impacted by the relentless stream of unwarranted criticism and negative remarks we have all been enduring for the last several weeks. It has become increasingly difficult to cope with the harsh and unfounded comments directed at myself and our team. These relentless attacks have deeply affected me, overshadowing the tremendous successes we have achieved together. As a result, I have come to the painful realization that it is no longer healthy for me to remain in this position and that it is time for me to step away. It breaks my heart to leave, but I must prioritize my well-being. I am deeply grateful for the time I have spent here and for the incredible dedication and hard work of this team. I will truly miss working with each and every one of you. The camaraderie and collaboration we shared have been the highlights of my career. I hope that our paths will cross again in the future, and that you continue to achieve great things together. Thank you for the wonderful memories and the incredible journey we have had.
