There is a perfectly good explanation - it's my current bookmark. @bsky.app is not good at retaining your place in your stream: github.com/bluesky-soci.... But I can bookmark someone else's instead if you prefer.

I like to pick up where i left off if I left app for a few hours. What I don't like is that the load new just auto scrolls to top, which then leaves me having to read in reverse until I "catch up" ...
