It sounds authentically like their classic-era songs. A much under-appreciated track.

Interestingly, the ‘McCartney’ song is far more layered, unnerving and ominous, whilst the ‘Lennon’ one is just wilfully obscure.

A very succinct observation.

I thought that too - as I did last year when he played the Lytham Festival. There was an apologetic air to a few of his songs.
