Especially with how insanely talented Doug Jones is!! The overuse of CGI really baffles me. I was shocked in Crimson Peaks that GDT went that route when he's so well-known for not using it. Wonder why he's doing so now.

The ghost felt weird to me back when I saw it in theaters, too, tbh. Practical effects tend to age much better imo in part because they still have weight, you know?
